It is easy to organize small things stored in sanitary places. Before, with silverware trays in particular, protecting items from the grime that collects in the drawer was done with a plastic, compartmentalized tray. The grime, of course, collected in the storage tray just as quickly as in the drawer. This required the tray to be emptied completely, cleaned, then placed back in the drawer.
